Thoughts to remember:

In the kingdom of God, there are no "spectators only" believers. God calls all Christians to be participating actively and faithfully in the work that builds and advances His kingdom. To sit in a monastery doing nothing but singing and praying is not an option!.

God has invested in each believer certain spiritual gifts. Our task is to be sensitive to the Spirit's leading regarding how to use those gifts. We hone this sensitivity through Bible study and prayer. As we do, we come to know Christ better, growing in the knowledge of His calling in our lives. Each of our "heart links" needs a clearer understanding of his or her calling. Our goal is to help them realize that Jesus does indeed call his disciples to do his work. If we don't answer the Lord's call, then who will?

God's Measure:
God chooses you into His service on the basis of individuality. He does not want you to be a photocopy of another person He has chosen to fulfill His will. He does not want you to be like anyone else but Jesus. His ultimate objective is to clone you into the image of His Son. This conformity is an inward spiritual growth which is demonstrated outwardly in your manner of life.
